The Band

The group included Rick Danko on bass guitar and vocals, Garth Hudson on keyboards, Richard Manuel on piano, Robbie Robertson on guitar and Levon Helm on drums. In the beginning, Bob Dylan toured with the group as Levon and the Hawks and the Canadian Squires. After officially forming together as The Band, the musicians released a total of ten albums over the years. Eventually, the group was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994, and they also received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008.
