Alice Cooper
Alice Cooper is a legendary shock rock musician who first rose to prominence in the 1970s. He was born Vincent Damon Furnier in Detroit, Michigan in 1948. Cooper formed his first band, the Earwigs, while attending Cortez High School in Phoenix, Arizona. He later changed the band's name to Alice Cooper and began performing a mix of rock, psychedelic, and hard rock music with a theatrical stage presence.
The band released their first album, "Pretties for You," in 1969, and quickly gained a following for their outrageous live shows, which included elaborate stage sets, costumes, and Cooper's distinctive on-stage persona. In 1971, the band had their breakthrough with the release of the album "Love It to Death," which featured the hit single "I'm Eighteen." From there, Alice Cooper went on to become one of the most successful and influential rock acts of the 1970s, known for hits such as "School's Out" and "Billion Dollar Babies."
