Charmed
When Charmed debuted in 1998 it set the record for the neonate WB network with 7.7 million viewers. It also held the record for the longest running series with an all female lead until being beaten by Desperate Housewives.
It is of course the story of three witch sisters Prue (Shannon Doherty), Piper (Holly Marie Combes) and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) who form the Power of Three to save the world from warlocks and other demonic ilk. It is considered one of the top supernatural TV shows of all time (after, of course, Supernatural) and a really good sci fi show as well. It is considered a great source for pop culture references and has significant cultural value.
