The Residents

Originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, The Residents are an innovative band that is well-known for their avant-garde sense of style. The group first released their debut album, Meet the Residents, back in 1974, and the group has continued to create a wide array of work over the years. Interestingly enough, the group is known for keeping private details about themselves tightly under wraps. In the seventies, the group released albums like The Third Reich 'n Roll, Fingerprince, Not Available, Duck Stab/Buster & Glen and Eskimo. In the eighties, The Residents released work like The Commercial Album from 1980, followed by Mark of the Mole and The Tunes of Two Cities. The group continued to release a new album nearly every year after, continuing with Title in Limbo, George & James: The American Composers Series, vol. 1, Whatever Happened to Vileness Fats? and The Census Taker. In the nineties, The Residents released albums like Hunters, Have a Bad Day and Wormwood: Curious Stories from the Bible, and then albums like Icky Flix and Demons Dance Alone in the 2000's. The band's most recent release was Mush-Room back in 2013 and The Ghost of Hope from March 2017. If you're all about experimental music, you'll certainly appreciate our selection of apparel from The Residents.
